Co-sponsored Programs

Co-sponsored programs are run by non-profit organizations that maintain study centers worldwide, such as CIEE, IES, and IFSA. They provide on-site support and college courses to undergraduate study abroad students. Courses are often taught in English, and sometimes in the language of the host country. Many of your classes will be taken with other American students from all over the United States. Depending on the program, enrollment at a host country university or an internship may be an option. These programs tend to offer a variety of housing options, including home stays, residence halls, and shared apartments.
